Am 25.9.11 findet im Klosterneuburger Ortsteil Weidling die "Klosterneuburger Kürbis Olympiade" statt. Die "Teilnehmer" sind von der Gärtnerei Spitzbart ausgegeben worden und werden über den Sommer mit viel Liebe gepflegt. Wichtig dabei ist ein humusreiches Platzerl und immer genug zu trinken.
Am Sonntag den 25.9. wird dann das Ergebnis zwischen 11:00 und 14:00 in den Kirchgarten gebracht wo die Weidlinger Winzer Aigner, Meißner, Trat-Wiesner und Zeiner mit ausgezeichneten Weinen und frischen Sturm für das leibliche Wohl sorgen! Der Alte Mühle Kürbis ist schon eingepflanzt und wartet auf den September!
On September 25th 2011 a pumpkin contest - "Klosterneuburg Pumpkin Olympiad" - will take place in Klosterneuburg - Weidling. Together with the local wine producers Aigner, Meißner, Trat-Wiesner and Zeiner the Spitzbart Nursery will organize this event in combination with a wine tasting for locals and guests alike.
The "Alte Mühle Pumpkin" is already planted and is waiting for September!
